Terms and privacy

For questions about using Sollestro, ask the Sollestro assistant, the chat button at the bottom right of every page. For these terms, a purchase or your data, email hello@sollestro.com.

Sollestro is licensed, not sold. A trial, subscription or one-off purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for the period and number of machine activations stated for that plan at checkout. A one-off licence gives continuing access to Sollestro and includes future major versions without an additional Sollestro upgrade fee. A subscription gives access while it is active, subject to its checkout terms. Do not redistribute the software or your key, share your key outside your licence, or try to bypass licence checks.

Local mode runs a compatible downloaded AI model on your computer and does not require a separate AI API key. You need an internet connection to download a model and activate or periodically validate your Lemon Squeezy licence.

Video editing and the Resolve route for photo selection need a compatible DaVinci Resolve Studio installation. Resolve's Photo page and direct RAW import require Resolve 21 or newer. Folder + XMP photo selection can run without Resolve. Local model packages have different memory, storage and performance needs; check the in-app fit advice before downloading. DaVinci Resolve is a separate product. Sollestro is independent of Blackmagic Design.

Lemon Squeezy handles checkout, payment, tax and licence delivery as merchant of record. The price and taxes shown at checkout apply to your order. Paid subscriptions renew on the monthly or annual schedule you choose until cancelled. You can cancel through your order or account link and retain access to the end of the paid period. A one-off licence does not renew. Lemon Squeezy's checkout terms also apply.

A free licence lasts for the period stated at checkout. The free Sollestro 3.1 Beta licence currently lasts 30 days from when its key is issued. It requires a new order through Lemon Squeezy, which sends a licence key and download links. It does not require payment details or automatically become a paid plan. When it ends, a paid licence is needed to continue using Sollestro. Settings and analysis saved on your computer remain there unless you remove them.

If you purchase Sollestro and it is not right for you, request a refund within 30 days of purchase by emailing hello@sollestro.com. We will arrange the refund through Lemon Squeezy under our stated money-back guarantee. This does not limit any statutory rights you have.

You retain the rights you hold in your footage, photographs and the edits or selections made from them. We claim no ownership of your creative content or output. We and our licensors retain the rights in the Sollestro software.

Sollestro can miss material or make choices you would change. Review each timeline, photograph verdict and exported mark before client delivery. We do not guarantee that an output will be complete, correct or suitable for a particular project. To the extent permitted by law, the software is provided as available and may not work with every file, project, computer or version of third-party software.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, corrupted data or losses caused by third-party services. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid for Sollestro in the 12 months before that claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Consumer rights that cannot legally be limited remain in force.

You can stop using Sollestro at any time. A trial ends at the end of its trial period; a subscription ends at the end of its paid period after cancellation; a licence can also end following a material breach of these terms. We may update the app and these terms. We will date the updated terms and communicate significant changes where reasonable.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Any mandatory consumer protection in your own country still applies.

In Local mode, Sollestro processes the media and brief you give its AI on your computer. We do not receive that creative material through the Local AI workflow. Model downloads come from the stated download provider, and licence activation and validation contact Lemon Squeezy. Adrienne Photography Limited is responsible for the personal information we use to provide Sollestro and respond to enquiries. Company number 07886066; registered office 29 Coniston Road, Eastleigh, England, SO50 9FP; hello@sollestro.com. Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record for purchases and has its own privacy terms for checkout.

Lemon Squeezy collects the details needed for an order, including contact, payment and billing information, and provides us with order and licence details needed to supply and support Sollestro. On activation and later validation, the app sends the key and device information needed for the licence check to Lemon Squeezy. The app keeps settings, licence state, analysis and a record of your recent runs, including prompts, settings and logs for up to 30 days, on your computer. We use order and licence information to fulfil the contract, support you, keep required records and prevent licence misuse.

In Local mode, the selected AI model processes sampled video frames, available transcript text, photo previews, analysis and your brief on the computer running Sollestro. These are not uploaded to an external AI provider by Local mode. The app downloads model files from the selected provider over the internet.

If you email us or use the contact form, we receive the information you provide and use it to answer you. The contact form is delivered to our support inbox through Resend. The website's AI chat sends your messages to Anthropic to generate replies. Once you have a substantive exchange, the website automatically emails a copy of the conversation to our support inbox through Resend after a period of inactivity or when you leave the page; if you continue the conversation, updated copies may be sent. If you select “Email me this conversation”, a copy is also emailed to the address you enter. The support copy can include page and technical context needed to understand the enquiry. Do not put confidential client material, passwords or licence keys into the chat.

Our host may process standard request and security information such as IP address, time, requested page and browser details. The website links to Lemon Squeezy checkout. If you allow affiliate tracking in the website's cookie choice, it loads a Lemon Squeezy script that may use cookies or similar technologies. You can reopen that choice from the footer. Lemon Squeezy checkout has its own privacy terms.

We use information as needed to provide a trial or paid licence and support (contract), answer enquiries and protect the service (legitimate interests), and keep records the law requires (legal obligation). Where consent is required for optional website tracking, we will ask for it before that tracking runs. You can contact hello@sollestro.com about a particular use of your data.

Depending on the action you take, information is handled by Lemon Squeezy, the website host, Resend and, for website chat, Anthropic. Some providers process data outside the UK. Their applicable safeguards and privacy terms govern that processing. We keep order and licence information for the period needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting requirements. We keep support messages and chat transcripts only as long as needed to answer and document the enquiry, then delete or anonymise them.

Depending on the law that applies, you can ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to a use of it. Write to hello@sollestro.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your local regulator.

Sollestro is a professional tool and is not directed at children. We will post changes to this policy here with a new date.
